Limited selection, but very tasty!
Best seafood in Zipolite. Probably some of the best seafood I’ve had in a long time. A server brings you a platter of the fresh seafood available that day and prepares what you choose. It is prepared simply but the taste is simply incredible. Seafood comes with salad, potatoes and rice. Highly recommended.
Fantastic place! Friendly service! Fresh food; best seafood I’ve had in my life. Most certainly worth a visit on your trip to Zipolite. I had the red-snapper, my friends the mahi-mahi and the tuna. All fantastic. Love how they bring the try around to show you the fresh catch of the day.
Another restaurant in Zipolite we went to on multiple occasions (3x dinners and 1x breakfast). Went here on the recommendation of a friend who had been to Zipolite a few weeks prior. They bring you a platter showcasing the fresh seafood they have on offer that day - we tried the red snapper, octopus, and tuna and some local fish. The standouts for us were the red snapper and the tuna. For breakfast, definitely try the chilaquiles with mole sauce, and the Mexican fried eggs with chorizo. Service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. The restaurant is right on the main road entering the Adoquin, so can be quite busy (and dusty during dry season).
Insanely fresh local seafood grilled in front of you. The portion sizes are extremely large so be forewarned that your seafood choice will be served with a large salad, roasted potatoes, and rice. Maybe hold off on the chips & salsa.
This place was recommended by a friend and it was fantastic! We had the three fish specials and each was phenomenal. Will be back next time we’re in town.
This was one of our favorite meals we had during our time in Zipolite. Absolutely make sure to come to dinner here. I was hoping to get a lobster, but they didn’t have any. Got the shrimp instead and was not disappointed. The sauce they put on all the dishes is amazing. Also, the side potatoes are nothing to sleep on either. It was fun to sit outside and watch the chef grill. Hope to make it make here one day because I know I will always think about this meal!
